  • Capacitive touch paper-thin (0.80 mm) business cards (in collaboration with Ynvisible) that exhibit controlled and consistent visible behavior. The design enables unparalleled thinness and manufacturability over prior “smart business cards” and reactive surface products.

  • An economic shape memory alloy based fire sprinkler trigger designed to minimize material usage and isolate the alloy from stress bearing roles until activation, addressing longstanding practical limitations in prior approaches.

  • A set of alternative electrochromic architectures designed to reduce cost complexity and energy demand relative to conventional smart glass systems. The focus is on simplifying activation mechanisms while preserving meaningful optical contrast.
